Nature’s Grove Preserve is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to steward properties adjacent to the Northwest Vipassana Meditation Center, or Dhamma Kuñja as it was named by meditation teacher S.N. Goenka, in order to protect its meditative environment.

This stewardship includes the responsible preservation of forest lands, and the development of housing and infrastructure to support Dhamma Kuñja’s student community.

Nature’s Grove is legally and financially separate from the Northwest Vipassana Association, which operates Dhamma Kuñja.

Nature’s Grove is managed by a volunteer group of dedicated long-term Vipassana students with previous non-profit management, business management, property management, and legal experience.
